Rita Top & Dress

The Rita Top & Dress is a PDF sewing pattern inspired by pool hair, toes in the grass, fireflies, soft serve, disco roller rinks, women's sports, and dusty foraged summer blackberries.

The Ornella top is an oversized jersey-inspired design featuring raglan sleeves, an exposed facing, an option to bias-bind the facing, sleeve cuffs, and a curved hem.   Additionally, the dress view adds a ruffle tier.  The top view side seam hem is designed to hit your lower thigh.   The dress view hem ends mid-calf.  There is generous ease at all sizes in both views.

The sewing difficulty level is suitable for confident beginners and beyond.

More detailed pattern information is included in the pattern instructions.  Seam allowance is included in all pattern pieces.

Sizing Notes: Rita sizing is selected by bust measurement and spans from 32" (81 cm) to 62" (157 cm).  Spaghetti Western Sewing sizing names deviate from standard sizing.  A Spaghetti Western Sewing medium is the average bust measurement of women in the United States.  The rest of the sizes are distributed across the size range based on pattern grading increases.
