Willa Shorts

The Willa Shorts are a girl boxer for the bloomer curious with pockets.  This is a PDF & projector sewing pattern.

The pattern design features a high rise, elastic waist, generous ease, ruffle hem and curved split side seam for extra ventilation. The perfect mix of sweet and sporty.  The front and back curves of the Willa shorts are designed to hit mid-thigh (including the ruffle in this rough measurement) and the waist is designed to sit at or slightly above your natural waist.  The pattern is drafted for a 5’3” (160 cm) tall person.  The pocket design includes pocket stays, which are sewn into the entire front waistband and part of the front inseam.  

Upon purchase, you will receive a link with digital instructions and print-at-home and A0 and projector PDF pattern files. Use Adobe software and print at 100% scale to get accurate pattern pieces. More detailed pattern information is included in pattern instructions.  Seam allowance is included in all pattern pieces.

Sizing Notes: 

Willa sizing is selected by hip, or widest point of your midsection measurement and spans from 32.5" (83 cm) to 60.5" (154 cm) with generous ease in all views.  Spaghetti Western Sewing sizing names deviate from standard sizing.  A Spaghetti Western Sewing medium is the average hip measurement of women in the United States.  The rest of the sizes are distributed across the size range based on pattern grading increases.  

 The sewing difficulty level is suitable for adventurous beginner sewists and beyond.
